Alex Linton
Founder & Managing Principal
After earning a M.S. in Real Estate Development, Alex spent 5 years as the Project Manager and Director of Acquisitions for two different private equity backed investment groups. During his tenure in the corporate world, Alex managed the acquisition and renovation of 14 residential and mixed use buildings, comprising over 300+ residential units across New York City and Brooklyn, NY.
In 2016, Open Sky Holdings, LLC was founded with the mission to bring private capital and institutional expertise to the single-family rental (SFR) and raw land development industry. We identify and source opportunities in secondary and tertiary markets for our private investment partners and for our own growing portfolio.
Our goal is to serve our investors, while helping to re-vitalize communities and add value to our economy through the application of sustainable re-development, street level revitalization, and local job creation.
Alex holds a Masters of Real Estate Development from NYU and a Bachelor's of Economics from Hamilton College. He is married with 2 girls and enjoys running absurdly long distances and spending time with his family and his dog on the beach in San Diego.
